Welcome to Dakotathon at the University of South Dakota! Dakotathon (known nationally as Dance Marathon) is a nationwide, student-run philanthropy that raises money for Children's Miracle Network. More specifically, USD's fund raising dollars go to Sanford Children's Hospital, the region's only Children's Miracle Network hospital. USD Dakotathon is the largest student-run philanthropy in the state of South Dakota.
In its 17th year at The University of South Dakota, Dakotathon is more than just dancing, it's a 24-hour event that celebrates kids in the moment. Dakotathon is packed with games, dancing, fun, and food. We highly encourage you to browse through this site and note the many different ways you can participate.
